Wee Pad Training

My puppy keeps trying to eat her wee-wee pad, how do I train her to stop?

I have given her toys to play with instead and tried to get her to play with them instead of the wee-wee pad. Please help!

My first question would be, why are you using the pads instead of crate training her? You can try using Bitter Apple as a taste deterrent, but it may make her not want to go near the pads at all.

Note: those pads didn't work for me. When we first got one of my dogs, we tried to train her on them b/c we couldn't take her outside to potty. She'd get her nose over them, but not her hind end.

When we tried to use them with another dog, we thoroughly confused her. She didn't know whether to use them or tell us she needed to go outside. So, unless you absolutely have to train her to go inside, consider picking up the pads and crate training instead.

Also, if you want her to go inside, I've heard the doggie litter box works well, but I don't have experience with it.
