Potty Training an Older Dog and Stopping Marking....?

I moved in with a friend of mine about a year ago and she has a dog that was never completely housebroken. My dogs have always been really good about not going to potty in the house. However, the last few weeks I have noticed that they are starting to go and mark over where my room mates dog has went.

Any tips on what I can do to stop this and maybe finish house breaking her dog? He is about 5 years old now.
Both of my dogs are altered (one male, the other female) but both are fixed. My room mates dog (male) is still in tact. I have no control over her dog so there isn't much I can do about that.
