Indoor Dog Potty Petsmart

is this "normal"?

My dog started day care yesterday at petsmart. They have an indoor potty area for them that has specially textured floors to encourage them to go. She is part of the play group, so is playing for most of the day. Usually she is sleeping in her kennel at home. Well both today and yesterday when she goes out to go to the bathroom she goes at least twice in one trip. She doesn't look like she's straining or anything. I'm thinking that it could be because she's playing and doesn't really want to go inside because that's not what she was taught (although they said she did go number 1 and 2 today, yesterday was just number 1). So she's holding it longer and has more to go. but she doesn't feel the need to go out, she's not begging to go out more, just she goes more often when i take her out.
she is a one year old lab

I had a dog that did this and he was fine. If you're concerned the best place to go would be your vet.
