How to teach your miniature chihuahua tricks?

My 10 month old miniature chihuahua is having trouble going to the bathroom on her "Wee Wee Pad". And usually goes anyplace else. She has started urinating on the wee wee pad but not anything else. I already know of the sprays that attracts them but it doesn't work for my doggie.
You guys my doggie recently hurt her left leg so im not "lazy" to bring her outside she can't walk on her leg. So please don't say anything about me training my dog badly. She limps thats it. Jeez you guys are mean...and she only goes #1 (pee) on the wee wee pas occasionally.

The puppy pads are helpful for the smaller dogs who have smaller bladders. If she is going on the pads 75% of the time, she's doing ok. Smaller dogs take longer to completely housetrain, so keep at it.

Some tips that may help:

-Crate train her during the times you aren't at home. It will help her learn to "hold" it.

-Establish a solid routine. You may be taking her outside to pee 4 or 5 times a day, but you have to make a routine of it.

- Start learning and responding to her telling you she has to pee. Dogs each have their own way of telling you. There are tips all over the internet about training your dog to sit by the door, ring a bell, bark, whatever you want.

The *KEY* is consistency. If you want your dog to do the same thing every time, you have to behave the same way every time, too. )
