how to potty train this dog???

he is a jack russell mix..7 months...male..and is used to being in the house..we have tried many things like the puppy pad and all that..i even sprayed some of the dog spray (so they could pee there)on the pad...it worked for a while then he just forgot all about it and instead chews the pad up.i thougt of putting him outside but i cant do that because he is a ouse dog and it is too cold for im.....i have this whole summer to teach him..what should i do?
i do walk im and he does go outside and he poops outside and everything..but like once i put im inside or at night he poops inside too..he is a very healthy active dog trust me if e didnt have this problem he would be perfect...(oh and no...i do not want to it him or rub his face in it...that is animal cruelty...so no on that)

when he makes an accident in the house, you need to punish him right after he does it. He needs to associate using the bathroom in the house with punishment. Right after you punish him, take him outside and set him down in the grass where you want him to start using the bathroom. Whenever he goes outside, give him a treat and make a big fuss over him. Dog Breeding and Porch Potty

Many owners anticipate breeding their dogs once their pet has reached maturity. This usually occurs between one and three years of age. Many owners are unaware of the many risk factors involved for their pet.

It is also important to know your breed, breed risk factors and pedigree. Are there inherent concerns such as aggressiveness or shyness? Is there a history of breeding problems in the lineage? There are all sorts of concerns and considerations that need to be addressed before making this huge decision. Dogs of both genders must be in top physical condition before breeding.

Females are at greater risk for developing serious and even fatal reproductive cancers after having a litter of pups. Mammary tumors and cancers are more likely to occur in females that are bred than those that are not. Females also run the risk of infection and complications during pregnancy, during and after delivery as well as whelping is another cause for concern. Another serious consideration is failure to expel the placenta which can even be fatal due to an infection that spreads very rapidly from the uterus to the rest of the body. Complications during whelping can also be extremely serious or even fatal if not treated promptly by a vet. Puppies born breach or become stuck in the birth canal pose major health concerns for both mother and pups. Large breeds or breeds with larger heads most often encounter these particular complications. False pregnancy is still another cause for concern because of the physical and mental stress it poses for your dog as well as the risk of infection within the reproductive system. Inbreeding comes with its own set of risks, primarily to the puppies.

For the female, there are nutritional concerns both during pregnancy and nursing. What if mom dies during delivery, or is just not a very good mom. Are you willing to take over that responsibility? What about the vet costs if there are complications? Then there is the pooping, piddling, chewing, exploring, playing and constant cleanup that goes along with several puppies over an 8-10 week period. Males on the other hand do have a lower risk factor than females. However, unaltered males also risk development of testicular cancers and tumors as they age. Neutered males are less aggressive and are less at risk for injury during a fight than their unaltered counterparts. Behavioral issues associated with unfixed males are causes for concern as well. They roam more frequently and travel farther away from home, making the likelihood of being hit by a car or getting lost an important factor. They also will "mark their territory" by spraying urine. Injury to the male during mating itself is another risk to consider. If you have the stud male, are you willing to have the female in your home for 7-10 days? There is the responsibility for her needs and her care, as well as making sure she does not mate with any other male dog during her heat.
