Labrador potty problem?

my female black lab will be getting spayed soon. she is an outside dog but my dad has said she can sleep on are closed off front porch. how do you think she needs to do her buisness while is recovering should i like put sod in a plastic tub and make like a grass patch for her to use or should i take her off the porch on a leash say every hour and let her relievr herself. help. any suggestions willl help

I had my lab spay 2 months ago and you are just fine to take her out on a leash. Try to keep her from jumping and have your dad request that the vet use dissolvable stitches on her. That way she can't chew out her stitches leading to an extra vet visit.
