Dog Pads Small

How can I soften my Dogs pads on her paws they are rough and scratch when she jumps in your lap ?

I have a smaller dog that will jump up in your lap and the pads on her paws are so rough that it scratches you. I have a lot of friends that have dogs and there dogs pads are not like this.
Is there anything that I can do to soften them ?

I wanted to do that for my dog and asked the vet who told me not to soften the dog's paws with creams or anything because he needed the roughness to protect his feet. He said that if they were softened, the dog would have difficulty walking on rough surfaces, rocks, etc. I suppose it would be OK if he never goes out and then I would just use Vaseline and put little socks on his feet until they get softer. I am sure other people have had the same problem and must have some solutions that will work for you.

The Simple Effectiveness of Note Pads

One of the great giveaway ideas of all time is pad printing. Your logo and contact information stand in front of your customer day in and day out. Every time they make a note they see your brand, whether they realize it or not. As far as marketing goes, this is a golden opportunity! So here are a few ideas as you pursue your pad printing project:

Shapes
While every shape of notepad imaginable can be made, remember to keep it simple when printing notepads. Your customers may have a difficult time making notes on a pad that is shaped like a puppy dog. Pad printing must be practical, and choosing a practical shape is important.

Sizes
Don’t get too big or too small. Large note pads are simply impractical and cannot replace legal notepads. Miniature sticky notes are nice, but you cannot hope to be able to include your logo on these. Pad printing the right size can be a little bit tricky, but keeping your pad between legal notepad and sticky note sized should give you a ballpark idea.

Color
Consider choosing a solid color paper with a single color for text for pad printing. Using a background picture on your paper can be a mistake as customers tend to avoid writing over pictures. Too much color for pad printing is certainly a possibility. Keep it simple. Remember, you want your customer to have a practical tool at their fingertips which also just so happens to have your logo on it.

Contact
Finally, make sure customers can contact you. Very basic contact information, such as your website and a phone number, is all that is necessary to include. Of course, don’t forget your logo as well. Too much contact information will clutter the pad, and this runs the risk of your customer simply not using the pad at all.
