My dog has an injured paw...?

he probably stepped on a sharp rock or hot tar or something, and it looked like the pad on his foot had come off, and it was raw. I took him to the vet, and they wrapped it and gave me antibiotics. Well, its been over a week and the initial area is healing up, but other parts of the pad are peeling off too. Is this weird? He limps all over the place and I'm not sure what to do. All the vet said was "It will heal over time" but it concerns me that it looks like it is spreading. Any advice?

Some of the dead pad will peel off but a new one will grow back in time. It'll take a much longer time for the pad to heal when it's bandaged up because oxygen helps to heal scars & cuts much faster.

My dog had a lacerated paw pad last year & it proximately took close to a month to heal because it was bandaged all the time. Just make sure paw is always cleaned & totally dry. If you don't want its bandage to get soaking wet from walking outside, put foot in plastic bag with bandage still on ofcourse & tie it up but not too tight till is cuts the dog's blood circulation. I hope his paw will heal up soon.

Comparison of Sweeper Mops in the Marketplace

I'm not a big fan of disposable products. But every once in a while, I like to try the newest products which are out there. Thus far, my experience with wet pads for sweeper mops has been dismal.
