Train Dog To Use Indoor Dog Litter Boxes
Dog Litter Box Training Problems
what should i do? cat to toilet to litter box to toilet problem?
im about to finish toilet training my cat.. but the problem is.. what if both of us were to go to another house and i let her use a litter box (cause in my mom's house, my mom wouldn't let her inside the house).. what should i do? i reposted this because i think yahoo is messing up and is putting this question in the dog section.. i think..
killa p is just like my cat
btw, toilet training means using the HUMAN toilet..
If your cat will not have access to a toilet, I would suggest you not take the cat. Cats are very habitual and the potty issue is a #1 source of stress in a cats life if it is tampered with.
Such a good kitty! How many kitties actually use a toilet? Mom needs to give in to this one.

Have you been thinking about a kennel for your dog? If you have a medium or larger dog, your pet loves to be outside especially in nice weather, a kennel might be a good idea. Farmers and Ranchers have dogs that live outside year round, even in inclement weather such as rain or snow. A kennel provides an excellent shelter from the elements.
Providing a kennel is not really that difficult. It needs to be large enough for the dog to move around inside standing up. Turning around and being able to stretch out when lying down is also important for comfort. Otherwise, he or she won't want to go inside. It should be sturdy enough to withstand the weather. Many owners use either a premade plastic kennel or build on made of wood that is painted or stained to prevent deterioration. Just like the plastic ones, these should have a hallway type entrance to keep the elements from inside the living area. In severe climates, a radiant type of heat source is also necessary to keep the dog warm. Straw and other natural types of bedding are not really that good since they do become dusty and moldy, causing respiratory problems and allergies.
A steady supply of fresh, clean water is also very important. In colder climates, it is recommended that the water be kept inside the living area to prevent freezing. Extra space inside the kennel is needed to insure against being knocked over and wetting the living area.
The recommended fencing material for around the kennel is chain link. This is safe, strong and secure, and allows the dog to see what's going on outside. A gate with a safety latch that the dog can't accidently open by jumping or pushing is also important.
Last but not least is sanitation. A place needs to be provided for your dog’s business. The dog will need to be trained to potty in that area only. A perfect solution for this is the Porch Potty, literally a litter box for dogs. The Porch Potty even has training sod, with the scent of real grass, to help with the training process. The Porch Potty is self cleaning and sanitary.
